Wouldn’t important decision-making be easier with a Brand roadmap directing your next steps?
Could you attract and retain better staff with a cohesive and inspiring company culture?
What would that mean to your bottom line?
As you know, a strong brand that provides a compelling message to your ideal clients, gives employees purpose and a culture to rally behind, and guides the business decisions that fuel your company’s growth is the bedrock foundation of successful businesses.
But that type of brand foundation is incredibly complex to build.
In order to define (or redefine) your brand, we need to begin with what makes you different and how you add value for your customers. An Inspiration Lab allows us to uncover your current reality with some tough questions, including, “Who is your brand? What is your offer (hint, this is not your product), Who is your target audience? What do you believe in/stand for?
The Inspiration Lab is designed to help you get real, uncover your goals and identify the roadmap for moving forward.
And here’s something most “design agencies” won’t tell you:
There’s no such thing as a “one size fits all” brand…
…and if your “branding expert” immediately starts trying to sell you a logo…
Your organization’s brand is inevitable . . . Simply by virtue of existing and interacting with others, your organization is branding itself. And, so, branding is going to happen whether the process is managed or not. The choice is only whether to approach the brand proactively, or ignore it and hope the brand that your market and competition builds for you is complimentary.
See, your brand is unique. You have your own unique message, your own unique audience, your own unique personality, and your own unique way of selling.
So anybody that tries to blindly tell you that they can ”build your brand” without taking the time to really understand exactly who your business is and how it works is either just trying to sell you a logo or blindly naive.
We’re Going To Begin to Uncover Your Killer Brand.
Getting clear about why your business exists will help you define clear goals and design a brand that’s aligned with those goals.
Why does your business exist? What greater purpose are you trying to achieve? What changes are you trying to affect in your customers or the community? What problems are you trying to help your customers solve and why are those problems important? What do you want to share specifically and why?
An Inspiration Lab is designed to identify weaknesses and holes in your current brand and give you a roadmap to what needs fixing so you approach the solution strategically and proactively instead of tactically and reactively.
Here’s Why We Insist on Inspiration Labs Before Branding.
We know that a certain percentage of people we do this for will want us to build their brands for them. But rather than try to convince you of how great that would be, we figured we’d just demonstrate that we can help you by …actually helping you.
Here’s How We’ll Do It.
We’ve set aside some time to personally review your brand, your business, and your offer (or your future offer). Next, we’ll work with you to determine your brand goals, the strengths and weaknesses (opportunities) in your market’s perceptions of your brand and the unique value you bring to your customers.
It’s Going to Get Personal.
The time you spend in this session will have you thinking about your brand in new ways. What products and services do you bring to market in order to achieve your “why”. We’ll talk about your current suite of products and services and try to identify those that have the most impact on your customers and the business.
We’re going to cover why you’re different, so you can stand out from the competition and start attracting those clients that truly align with you and your values, what you represent.
You’ll Get Actionable Insights.
Each Inspiration Lab session is held exclusively with the Whiterock | Reid founders, Bruce White and Joanne Reid. Typically taking between 2 and 3 hours by video conference (we’ll send you the details before the session), the session will culminate in a brand-action brief that identifies your killer brand opportunity and a strategy to move forward.
And we believe that once we do this for you, one of two things will happen:
The first possibility is you love the brand-action brief, you’ll immediately see the holes in your existing brand and the massive potential that branding has for growing your business, and you decide you want to try building the brand yourself. If that’s the case, great! We’re happy to help and we wish you the best of luck.
The second possibility is you love the brand-action brief and you’ll want us to actually build your brand with you. And if that’s the case, whether you need the strategy-focused Micro Branding or a complete Launch Deck engagement, we’ll schedule your first session in the next available slot.
Here’s What Happens When We Decide To Work Together After Your Inspiration Lab
We get together for a series of facilitated sessions online with your branding team. Over the course these sessions, we’ll identify existing perceptions about your brand, develop a pathway to your desired market placement, identify your ideal clients and understand their pathways to purchase, build and refine your brand values, personality, and unique value proposition, and uncover your brand’s unique, unassailable market positioning.
For Launch Deck engagements, we’ll also get to work on designing your new visual identity, including your stationery, business cards, typography, color palettes, and the brand style guide that controls all visual decisions moving forward.
And by the way, we’ll really be doing this with you. We don’t tell you how to do it or bog you down with “info”…
…this is an intensive brand development program where you’ll come away with tangible value but you’ll be involved at every step!
